1.2. By accessing our website, creating an account, making a reservation, or utilizing any of our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Services.

1.3. This Policy applies to all users of our Services, including renters, vehicle owners who list through our platform, website visitors, and any other individuals who interact with our business.

2.1. Personal Identification Information. We collect your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email address, telephone number(s), and government-issued identification details (including driver's license number, state of issuance, and expiration date).

2.2. Financial Information. We collect payment card details (credit/debit card numbers, expiration dates, CVV codes), billing addresses, and bank account information when applicable. Payment processing is handled through PCI DSS-compliant third-party processors.

2.3. Driving & Insurance Information. We collect your driving record information, motor vehicle report (MVR) data, automobile insurance policy details (carrier, policy number, coverage limits, expiration date), and claims history.

2.4. Vehicle Location Data. All rental vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking systems. During the rental period, we collect real-time vehicle location data, route history, speed data, and geofence alerts. This data is collected continuously throughout the rental period.

2.5. Communication Records. We collect and retain records of all communications between you and Musiaro, including emails, text messages, phone call recordings (where permitted by law), chat transcripts, and correspondence.

2.6. Website Usage Data. We automatically collect information about your interaction with our website, including IP addresses, browser type and version, operating system, device information, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, and search queries.

2.7. Photographic & Video Evidence. We collect photographs and videos of the rental vehicle before, during (in certain circumstances), and after each rental period for inspection and damage documentation purposes.

2.8. Vehicle Owner Information. For individuals listing vehicles through our platform, we additionally collect vehicle registration and title information, VIN numbers, maintenance records, and ownership documentation.

3.1. We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

(a) Service Delivery. Processing reservations, managing rentals, facilitating vehicle deliveries and returns, and providing customer support.

(b) Identity & Eligibility Verification. Verifying your identity, age, driving record, insurance coverage, and creditworthiness to ensure compliance with our eligibility requirements.

(c) Payment Processing. Processing rental payments, security deposits, damage assessments, penalty charges, and refunds.

(d) Vehicle Security & Recovery. Monitoring vehicle location to prevent theft, unauthorized use, geofence violations, and to facilitate vehicle recovery if necessary.

(e) Damage & Claims Management. Documenting vehicle condition, processing damage claims, and coordinating with insurance providers.

(f) Legal Compliance. Complying with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests.

(g) Communications. Sending transactional notifications, reservation confirmations, rental reminders, receipts, and customer service communications.

(h) Marketing. With your consent where required, sending promotional offers, newsletters, and information about new vehicles and services. You may opt out at any time.

(i) Analytics & Improvement. Analyzing usage patterns to improve our website, services, fleet management, and overall customer experience.

(j) Fraud Prevention. Detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities.

4.1. We Do Not Sell Your Data. Musiaro does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Under no circumstances will your data be sold.

4.2. We may share your information with the following categories of recipients strictly as necessary:

(a) Payment Processors. Credit card processors and payment service providers to process transactions securely.

(b) Insurance Providers. Your insurance company and/or our insurance partners for claims processing, coverage verification, and accident reporting.

(c) Law Enforcement & Government Authorities. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

(d) Vehicle Owners. Limited information (name and rental dates) may be shared with vehicle owners whose cars are listed on our platform, solely for the purpose of the rental transaction.

(e) Service Providers. Third-party vendors who assist with our operations, including vehicle maintenance, detailing services, towing companies, driving record verification services, credit reporting agencies, and IT service providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

(f) Legal & Professional Advisors. Attorneys, accountants, auditors, and consultants who require access to your information to provide professional services to Musiaro.

(g) Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

5.1. Cookies. Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (pixels, web beacons, local storage) to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and personalize content. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device until expiration or manual deletion).

5.2. Types of Cookies Used. 6.3. Anonymization. Following the applicable retention period, personal information may be anonymized and retained in aggregate form for analytical purposes. Anonymized data cannot be used to identify you and is not subject to deletion requests.

7.1. Right to Access. You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond to verified requests within thirty (30) days.

7.2. Right to Correction. You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

7.3. Right to Deletion. You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to the following exceptions. We may retain information necessary for: (a) completing an active rental transaction; (b) detecting fraud or security incidents; (c) complying with legal obligations; (d) exercising or defending legal claims; (e) maintaining financial and tax records as required by law; and (f) legitimate internal business purposes including debt collection.

7.4. Right to Opt Out. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or contacting us directly. Note that transactional communications related to active rentals are not subject to opt-out.

7.5. Submitting Requests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@musiarorentals.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may require identity verification before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8.1. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including: the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; the right to delete personal information held by us (subject to exceptions); the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

8.2. Florida Residents. If you are a Florida resident, you may have additional rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, the right to opt out of targeted advertising, and the right to obtain a portable copy of your data. 8.3. Authorized Agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit privacy requests on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written proof of authorization and we may require direct verification from you.

9.1. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information, including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, PCI DSS-compliant payment processing, access controls and role-based permissions, regular security audits and penetration testing, employee security training, and secure data backup procedures.

9.2. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk when providing personal information to us.

9.3. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities as required by law, within the timeframes mandated by applicable breach notification statutes.

10.1. Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Our minimum rental age is twenty-five (25).

10.2. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete such information from our records. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at hello@musiarorentals.com.

11.1. Musiaro reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice via email or a prominent notice on our website.

11.2. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
